JK Rowling has donated £1million to the Labour Party. She has cited their “battle” against “child poverty” (which has largely consisted of throwing other folk’s cash at the idle, incapable, intoxicated, and indifferent).
Great, I’m all for fantastically rich people funding political parties. Why any would want to hand money over to soak-the-rich socialists is beyond me (that’s like being taxed twice).
My only worry is the new donations scandal this might provoke if Hogwarts secures grant-maintained status after Rowling’s contribution.
